Six Steps to an agreement on nuclear

” The international community is still facing the threat of a global nuclear arsenal with more than tens of thousands of nuclear warheads. It is regrettable that despite the will of the majority of member states of NPT to achieve nuclear disarmament, the existence of nuclear arsenals throughout the world and especially, the mentality which sees the use of these inhumane weapons, continues to threaten all members the international community.
We are approaching the Review Conference of the NPT and if it succeeds in touch since their deepest roots and causes the most important issues involved, this can be a good opportunity to address the main challenges of the Treaty. We should bear in mind that the NPT was established on the basis of three principles: nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and the peaceful use of nuclear energy. What happened to those three pillars? The answer is disappointing. Due to improper approaches, discriminatory and selective by Member “nuclear”, the pursuit of a proper balance between these three principles has been entirely ignored the truth sacrificed to the result of the painstaking work of the propaganda machine of those who believe that force creates right.
Signatory states “non-nuclear” the Treaty agree to their discriminatory nature believe that the balance between the three founding principles would ensure the widest possible exchange of nuclear energy with peaceful intent, in addition to implementing our commitments on disarmament and complete elimination of nuclear weapons. Needless to say those commitments on non-proliferation have not been honored by some States Parties “nuclear” because they provided assistance to States not party to the NPT to acquire nuclear weapons or further develop these inhuman weapons. Unfortunately what happened in the last forty years has shown that expectations of certain states “nuclear” were wrong. The non-fulfillments of certain states “nuclear” to their commitments under Articles 1-3-4-and-6 of the Treaty, it generates qualitative and quantitative development of over 35,000 nuclear warheads, introduces the concept of illegal nuclear sharing, deprive the Member States of their inalienable rights offering non-nuclear signatories of the Treaty generous offers, but penalizes countries fairer.
