It is finally available on home video, Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard second chapter of his animated saga. Once again, protagonist, the young Arthur,  will return to meet his beloved Princess Selenia.

Alarmed by a strange request for help written on a grain of rice eaten by a spider, Arthur fears that his beloved is in danger and decided to return in the micro world.

Not exactly the Troll, but not humans, the protagonists of this special feature for children is wholly and all the features of humans. The film itself shows some flaws. First and foremost the will of the Besson will act according to American fashion back-to-back filming two episodes almost simultaneously.

In fact the revenge of Maltazard  leaves the viewer in mid-bite leading to a third chapter. Then, last but not least, the constant presence of references (desired or not?)

With other popular films like Star Wars (remember the basement of Tatooine?) or the fact that in real minimondo Arthur recreates, in almost all the fashions and trends of our daily (max, bar owner, is a Rastafarian and in the background we hear Lady Gaga).

In short, a feature film for children that has certainly dug out the box office and actually had better luck if he had been conceived from the outset as a home video. Do not expect textures and animation at Disney, just to be clear, the demands are much lower.
