The actor Gary Coleman, star of children’s TV series “Diff’rent Strokes,” died today 42 years after being removed from the respirator in a hospital in Utah, where he was hospitalized following a brain hemorrhage. I relate some of the media.

The website dedicated to celebrities RadarOnline.com writes that Coleman has been unplugged from the respirator, and similar reports have appeared on showbiz website TMZ.com and network CNN, quoting a spokesman for the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah.
The spokesman, who had earlier issued a statement which said that the actor was attached to the respirator following a cerebral hemorrhage occurred in recent days, is currently not reachable.
TMZ.com said the actor’s wife, Shannon, took the decision to disconnect the respirator, and Coleman died at 20.05 Italian time.
Coleman was hospitalized Wednesday because of intracranial hemorrhage. The next day was “conscious and lucid,” but later his condition worsened.
“Maybe sometimes it did not seem so, but has always had good memories of her as an artist and appreciates his fans for all the support that they gave him in years,” said Alcantara.
Coleman, who lived in the nearby town of Santaquin, had been hospitalized twice this year.
In January, he spent a night behind bars after being arrested at his home on charges of domestic violence.
