The most frequent causes of slowing the up-keeping of the payment plan is the loss of the job or unexpected medical expenses.
Some might be so overwhelmed with the credit card debts that debt counseling suggest at some point doing one’s own credit card debt settlement negotiation or seeking out another person to do it for the one with debts.
As a final stop in clearing the debts would be filing bankruptcy say debt counseling agencies. This would ruin the credit score for many years.
In debt counseling I found out there are two common personal bankruptcy: Chapter 13, which requires a lawyer and needs credit debt counseling from an agency approved by the government and Chapter 7 in which one surrenders his / her personal goods such as car or house.
