‘The longest day of the year 2010′ or ‘Summer Solstice’

Today  is the longest day in the northern hemisphere, that means that 21 June is the day of the year 2010. In this period there are the longest hours of daylight. It is the season of happiness and optimism. People are different they are more optimistic and fell more true to life ; they are always in good moods .They even celebrate the longest day of the day. This   event is called Solstice, and happens twice every year ; therefore we all know that there are summer solstice and  winter solstice. We call it summer solstice or the longest day of the year  when days are longer than nights. A very representative event is the warmth of the sun  that is spectacolus  and the time between Spring planting and Autumn  harvesting.
