T & D syndrome

“Do not talk of Areva T & D”. “We’re not vindictive, but we know we remember.” Whether at home or at General Electric, Toshiba, no one disputes the sale of Areva T & D Alstom and Schneider Electric, especially in the name of a certain economic patriotism or industrial policy. The way in which the transfer took place is however still cringe.
Once past the initial disappointment for recalibrated, the impression remains that they were not there to raise the stakes French. “Our teams have worked hard, they have invested, we believed.” Again, the speech is the same GE and Toshiba. With the unpleasant feeling of having been cheated, that the dice were loaded from the start.
Draw the conclusion that the leaders of these major groups, the managers I had the opportunity to cross over the last month is always the same “not very good for the image of France.” With background, the idea that we do not resume any time soon. A bit like another story, where they cried wolf. The next time that France will have an industry to sell, they will think twice. This is not necessarily good news, at the National reindustrialization.
It must be recognized as Toshiba and GE have been “good losers”. Their activities in France have not been impacted by the decision. Instead, even as if to prove their good faith, they have even strengthened their presence.
I also take this note to give you some new industrial sites Schneider. According to the formula, we have learned “a union source, that at the CEC’s March 31, 2010, management of Schneider announced the closure of Cognac and the shift of production at the site of Angouleme Espagnac ( 55 km).
